What changed in 2026?
The clearest new institutional development is Rowan University's School of Financial Planning, created with a $10 million commitment from Edelman Financial Engines. Rowan said the curriculum would include undergraduate and graduate education with preparation for the CFP® professional designation.
Separately, DACFP continues to present Edelman as its founder. Its August 2026 biography describes a broader current portfolio of educational initiatives and identifies his longstanding work in books, professional education and future-of-finance topics.
